Asheville’s Best Local Siding Installation & Replacement Contractor

Hatch Homes is an exterior remodeling contractor operating out of 60 N. Market Street in Asheville, NC, providing siding, roofing, window, and decking replacement for homeowners across Buncombe County and the surrounding region. In our time working through the French Broad River valley, we see that the biggest threat to local homes is moisture that gets trapped in walls and roofing systems due to constant humidity and over 50 freeze-thaw cycles every year. We look at how water moves through the structure in historic areas like Montford where original wood siding rots because it cannot dry out properly against modern insulated walls. The 1950s ranch homes in Kenilworth deal with a different set of problems, mainly window seal failures and cracking masonry flashing from decades of expansion and contraction in the mountain heat and cold. Our field measurements often reveal that newer builds near Biltmore Park have vinyl siding pulling away from the wall where direct sun on south-facing slopes heats the material past its stability point.

Hatch Homes exclusively handles siding, roofing, window, and decking projects. We use digital imaging to pull exact measurements for every project so material orders and moisture barriers are right the first time. Our crews work all over the area from the River Arts District to the hills of North Asheville, and a project consultant goes through every detail with the homeowner before any work starts. Every project walkthrough locks in your material selection and installation plan so the finished product actually holds up in this climate.
