Project Description
These local Charlotte, NC homeowners contacted Hatch Homes for a partial siding replacement located in the Myers Park neighborhood. Their home was originally constructed in the 1940’s and has undergone multiple renovations and additions through the years. Multiple siding types, textures and profiles occupied the home’s exterior wall space. One of the goals of the project was to bring some uniformity to the exterior. Once the tear down started, our crew discovered that there was little to no sheathing or insulation in their older home. The crew also discovered that the framing in the attic vents were not properly installed. The team at Hatch Homes quickly updated the homeowners who agreed that having a safe home and proper installation was worth the extra investment it would require. Hatch Homes took additional steps to ensure that the house was brought up to modern building codes and safe for future use. The homeowners are now resting easily knowing that the house they purchased is safe, energy efficient and up to modern building practices.
