Project Description

This home, built in 1986, has all the hallmarks of a house of the times – round window, arch detail over entry door, wide corner trims replicating columns. While beautiful and stately in the 80’s, it was definitely time for an update!

Our homeowner wanted to give her home a simplified, streamlined look. She spend many hours discussing the project with our Project and Design Consultants and landed on a solid plan. We would remove the arch, replace the round window with a small square one, and replace all of the wide trim with narrow trim. The homeowner chose James Hardie Horizontal Lap siding in Khaki Brown for nost of the house. The front jut-out would be sided in a narrower profile lap siding in Olive Brown and the trim would be Arctic White. Andersen 100 Series windows would be installed throughout the home. She had a large sliding door at the back of her home that was replaced with a 3-panel Simonton slider.

The crew thoroughly enjoyed working with this homeowner, who was a pleasure! The updates look amazing.
