Complete Exterior Renovation in Fletcher, North Carolina

This Fletcher, North Carolina home needed a complete makeover, from top to bottom. The property was slightly over 30 years old and still had many of the exterior components that were original to the house. The customer’s main concern was replacing the old vinyl siding with new James Hardie fiber cement siding. However, they were also interested in receiving pricing for roof, deck, window, and door replacement. The owners made it very clear from our first conversation that their primary concern was not pricing. They wanted to partner with a contractor who was going to place an emphasis on quality and had expertise with complete exterior renovations. When completing a complete exterior renovation, the order of operations is important! Here is the order in which we completed the different remodeling activities:

1) Roof Replacement

2) Soffit & Fascia Replacement

3) Siding Replacement

5) Deck Painting

7) Gutter Replacement

The Remodel began with the removal of the old asphalt roofing shingles and the installation of new architectural grade Owens Corning roofing shingles. This was done first because this is the only way to properly flash the roof with the fascia. Next, our crew installed the home’s new soffit and facia with new Mastic vinyl soffit and color matched aluminum. After this, the new James Hardie Color Plus HardiePlank siding and trim was installed across the home’s exterior. The custom Fiberglass French Doors (manufactured by Provia) were added next. Refinishing of the deck, painting of the trim and overall siding touch up was the next piece of the puzzle. Installation of the new gutters provided the finishing touches on the home’s brand new exterior.
