Cute Cape with Vinyl Shingles & Lap

This Cape Cod style home in Wilmington, NC was purchased by first-time homeowners. They came to us with siding that was original to the home and in need up updating. Unsure of what type of siding would best suit their needs, they did know they wanted something low-maintenance, had a good warranty, and was cost-effective. They also wanted to have their brick chimney painted, replace their gutters, and have window boxes installed.

The homeowners met with our project consultant who helped them navigate the many different siding options. They decided to go with Mastic Vinyl Siding. Mastic offers a Solar Defense line of siding, and our homeowners chose the color Natural Slate, a beautiful blue-gray. They decided to highlight the front and sections of the back with shingle, while the rest of the home would be done in horizontal lap.

The finishing touch to this charming home was the installation of the window boxes. These new first-time homeowners did a fantastic job redesigning their home’s exterior!
