The property owner reached out to Hatch Homes after their builder went out of business. This is a more frequent occurrence than one would imagine. The homeowner was forced to take over as the General Contractor for their dream home in the mountains of Blowing Rock, North Carolina. One of the tasks that the builder did not complete is the siding installation. Given their experience, It was important to the homeowner that the contractors that they hired moving forward were licensed and had expertise in their given fields.
The initial home plans did not call for a stone chimney. Additionally, the property owners were confident that they wanted their new home to be white. After utilizing the Hatch Home Visualizer, the stone chimney was added as a unique accent piece to the exterior. They also converted the color scheme to a modern & earthy tone utilizing neutral siding with dark trim. Our team has extensive experience in partnering with individuals who are building their own house. Hatch Homes’ goal is to take the stress out of the contractor hiring process. Even though the construction of this Blowing Rock, North Carolina home got off to a rocky start, our team was happy to partner with the homeowner to get their property’s exterior back on track.
More than just a contractor.
