The masonite on this home was installed in the early 1990’s. Masonite has a terrible reputation of not holding up well, and this homeowner can attest to that! He knew he needed to upgrade the siding but was torn on color. As is evident from the photos, he tried different paint samples on the existing siding to help him decide.
Our project consultant was able to help our customer decide on both the siding and color for his home. Known for its durability and long life, James Hardie horizontal plank fiber cement siding was the choice! The cedarmill texture gives the siding a realistic wood look, and the ColorPlus Navajo Beige color paired very well with the brick front. A crisp Arctic White trim was used as well. In addition to siding the home, this customer decided to wrap the porch columns in Hardie.
This project was completed in three days! The house has an updated look and won’t need replacement siding for many, many years.
