Modern in the Mountains

This customer came to Hatch Homes looking to freshen up his unique vacation home in Kings Mountain. While it maintained a very traditional look from the street, the back of this home was quite modern. The homeowner was struggling with how to make it more cohesive while updating the whole look.

He made use of our Home Visualizer so her could “try on” different siding profiles and colors for his home. After a few iterations and consultations with both the Project and Design Consultants, he landed on a great design!

He wanted to work with the existing color of his foundation and knew that he wanted James Hardie siding. The color he landed on was Pearl Gray siding with Arctic White trim. To work with the modern lined on the back and update the street side of the home, he chose Board and Batten, and extremally popular and versatile profile.

After removing the old T1-11 siding, our crew installed new Hardie Wrap to protect the home, then installed the siding. It is a beautiful new look for a very unique vacation home in the mountains.
