Project Description

Hatch Homes was first contacted by this Belmont, North Carolina homeowner after the roof on their home had suffered from extensive hail damage. They immediately contacted their home insurance provider and were told that their home qualified for a complete roof replacement. Our team met with the homeowner’s insurance adjuster to ensure that the insurance company provided the homeowner with all of the funds required to account for every aspect of the new roof’s installation.

As a courtesy, Hatch Homes upgraded the homeowner’s roofing shingle to Owens Corning Oakridge Architectural Grade shingles. “3-Tab” shingles were the original roofing material used on the property, so this is what the insurance company provided funds to replace. However, 3-Tab shingles are vastly inferior to architectural asphalt shingles. They decided on the Driftwood color, and our installation crew completed the project in one day.
