Hatch Homes was contacted by this former siding replacement customer in Belmont, North Carolina a few weeks after their initial project was completed. As a result of damage incurred during a hail storm, their insurance company approved the property owner’s request to replace their roof. On the customer’s behalf, Hatch Homes met with the insurance adjuster to ensure that all aspects of the project would be covered through insurance reimbursement.
Our team installed new OakRidge Architectural Asphalt roofing shingles manufactured by Owens Corning. To better compliment, their building’s new siding, we decided to switch from a green-hued roofing shingle to a sharp black shingle. Synthetic underlayment was used instead of roofing tar paper because it is impervious to moisture penetration and will do a much better job of protecting the home’s underlying sheathing. During the roof replacement, all drip edge, power vents, and roofing accessories were replaced with new components.
