Simplified Exterior

This ranch had a bit of a split personality – siding, brick, wood, stone, shutters, you name it! Our homeowners wanted to modernize and simplify the exterior of this home. They were looking to remove the stone and side with James Hardie fiber cement boards. They also wanted to replace their old windows.

The homeowners were quite handy and decided to do the demo themselves. They removed the old siding and most of the stone, leaving some at the foundation. They also installed the house wrap and readied the home for the window installation!

For siding, this ranch was to receive James Hardie Color Plus horizontal lap siding in Aged Pewter. The gables were to have Board & Batten siding in the same color. They chose Arctic White trim. For windows, they went with Simonton 5500 Vinyl windows.

The finished project is a beauty! This home knows exactly who it is now, and has a beautiful curb appeal.
