Project Description
This mountain home in Asheville, North Carolina was clad in 20-year old vinyl. The homeowner wanted to update the exterior material and color. She came to Hatch Homes with an idea of James Hardie Board and Batten in Light Gray with dark gray trim.
She met with our Project Consultant and our Design Consultant to discuss the options for her home. After using our Home Visualizer tool and a few discussions with our team, this home owner had a change of heart and decided to go with James Hardie horizontal lap in Night Gray with matching trim and stone veneer accents. She wanted some repairs to her front porch railing as well.
Once the demo started, we did find some rot underneath and had to replace some OSB sheathing. The install went fast and smooth, and the stone veneer added the finishing touches to this makeover.
This home now has a beautiful new look that rivals its views!
