This house in Goose Creek, South Carolina was sided in T1-11 originally. T1-11 is also known as plywood siding. This type of siding has a stigma due to its tendency for water damage. If not installed properly, the siding will crack and flake, allowing moisture inside.
As is obvious from the photos, the T1-11 siding on this home was failing. You can see the staining and deterioration on the side of the home. The homeowners contacted us wanting to replace the old siding with an affordable yet durable new siding. One owner was pretty handy and decided that he would be replacing the soffits and fascia himself.
Our project consultant worked with the homeowners to discuss the best options for their project. They decided on Mastic Ovation Horizontal Lap Vinyl Siding in English Wedgewood with white trim. There was also a door on the side of the home that the owners wished to close off.
Our crew closed off the door opening and installed the new, high quality vinyl siding on the home. The English Wedgewood blue sets off the brick on the home beautifully, making this one great-looking remodel.
