Project Description

This property was in the path of a recent hurricane from 2018, which surprisingly did not do much damage to the existing siding but the water damage caused this home to be deemed uninhabitable. The family was not ready to just walk away from their forever home, so they set out to find companies who would help them remediate their house so that they could be living in it by the spring/summer of 2019. This was when they discovered Hatch Homes who was ready to help them achieve their mission. The team at Hatch would need to do this project in two separate phases as not only the exterior was being remodeled but also the interior by another company as well. The first phase was to remove the existing siding and any sheathing that was left and reinstall brand new sheathing, house wrap and prep the boxing for the roofers to come to complete their portion of the job. The second phase would be when the window, doors, trim and siding would take place to complete the exterior of this property. Whenever there are multiple companies working on many sections of the house, they must all work around one another’s schedules & delays in order to stick the timeline of the homeowners moving back into their home.

More than just a contractor.

Hatch is your partner for exterior remodeling.
