Project Description

The owners of this vacation home in Wrightsville, North Carolina wanted to find a contractor to install new siding on the house for them. It was sided with T1-11 and needed replacing. The owners knew that it would need to have all new framing and sheathing before new siding was installed, and were also interested in getting new insulation.

Our crew at Hatch Homes first removed the old T1-11 siding and the foam board underneath. They then had to rebuild the framing on the home, insert new insulation, and then install the new sheathing over that. The house was now ready for its new siding!

Because of the harsh weather conditions on the shore, our customers opted for the very durable James Hardie Board & Batten fiber cement siding in Arctic White with matching trim. The gutters were removed as well. The modern siding profile looks great in the traditional beachy white color, giving this vacation great curb appeal! This family will not have to worry about their siding for many years to come.

More than just a contractor.
