Next, let’s look at Hardie Board’s ColorPlus Siding:

- Superior paint finish
- No flaking, chipping, cracking or peeling.
- Color consistency
Warranty
- 15 year paint warranty
- Single source warranty
Cons
Color Availability
Color plus is only available in 33 different siding colors and 10 different trim colors.
Hardieplank ColorPlus Siding is a vastly superior product when compared to Primed Hardie Siding. Because of this, Hatch Homes highly recommends using Hardie’s ColorPlus to all of our customers. The only time that we would advise a homeowner to use Primed Hardie Board is when there is a precise color the homeowner MUST have. In almost every instance, Hardie Siding’s robust color palette offers the number of color choices needed to achieve any desired look.
